These foods are sold in specialty pet stores and vet offices. Thank goodness I buy the naturals for Dis for on the road (the kind you get in Wal Mart). I know it’s not the highest quality but he will eat it which is a plus, it’s readily available, AND his breath doesn’t stink as bad on it. He ate cheap kibbles n bits for years because that’s what he WANTED till I figured out he was only eating the bits…the soft food. He gets meat too and semi soft organic dog food @ home.

See this wee tiny baby? He needs adopted and he needs adopted NOW and I’m in TX and can’t do anything about it. If you knew the hour or two we spent playing with our Bichon Dispatch whom we have had for 7 years and whom growls @ us when we pet him with our feet or play growls sometimes….he’s a little white dog with dull teeth. Anyway euthanizing a bichon is like euthanizing a rabbit because it kicks when you pick it up, basically not much difference. Or drowning a kitten because it scratched you. Kittens scratch. PLUS this dog has shown signs of fear but not agression!!!! Even if the dog is aggressive it just needs some training. PLEASE??????

I believe these dogs MUST go to a shelter/rescue since they are mama and babies but if you would like to adopt or foster or just help give this lady a call please. For some reason I really like the second dog pictured, she is looking @ her baby so intently like what miracle is THIS?

These HUGE list 98 breeders dogs are in need of RESCUES. They have been given their freedom!! However, many have already been pts and more will be pts sleep if not rescued.
Please when looking at this list, do consider taking an older one and not just the younger ones. It will be the older ones that get pts first by the breeders. We don’t want to leave any behind!!
We have transport to MN/WI and N. IL. We do not have tranport set up for the east or west coast.

Emergency Preparedness For Animals

Here’s an emergency preparedness booklet from the Veterinary Association. I’ve been reading it and there are interesting things I never considered. Such as if there were a tornado or a fire I don’t have doggie stickers on the windows.

MOST Of the time my cousin is home and she is like one of the people he (see he, Dispatch, the most spoiled Bichon in the world above) likes almost as well as me. Nobody else knows he just freezes if he is scared and hopes no one will notice him and will usually be on the bed @ the far end of the house if he’s worried.

Anyway there are disasters possible anywhere. Fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, and our most popular disaster locally, a house a couple miles down the road disappeared into the clouds while I watched once. The kids in the basement were fine thank goodness.

Anyway go here, read, think, do, Please?

Why Adopt A Bichon Frise?

If you are thinking about adopting a bichon…… well perhaps you should read my animals that give pause blog on blogger , and the best place to go is Petfinder for a bichon or any other dog or cat for adoption of course there are many other organizations out there but most are linked up with petfinder I believe.

Of course Bichon Frise are just incredibly cute……even if he is a big tough boy and mama makes him hold her ebay paintings…..

Bichons can be forced to pretend they like some cats.

Bichons can balance very well.

Bichon Frise can look incredibly wise @ a young age.

Bichons can explain to young children how to best get treats……

And Bichons can play well with others…..

Been Gone

I’ve been gone for awhile but NO MORE. I’m not officially employed, full time anyway, no children @ home so what can I find to do? I can blog!!

Seriously I have a husband who is self employed and we all know what that all means, a large house and lawn, and I am freelancing and have 5 blogs and I’m trying to write for a rather famous site @ the moment…not sure if I can say I got the job but cross your fingers for me..

In the meantime go see this site and tell them I told you to stop by! And comment enough here and I might say something nice in a post but honestly I don’t say anything nice just because I can, you have to have a great site!!
